A student with an unconditional love for shopping (but that’s no good, because I’m mostly broke ๐Ÿ˜ฆ ).

I love travelling and exploring new places, the local cuisines, crafts, culture and traditions, stories about the history of the place, etc and I’d say I’ve been to quite a few places in India.

Music is my second love, after Jensen Ackles, and I hum to myself sometimes. Any kind of music works for me but when it comes to favorites, I have a weird hybrid kinda taste- Mohd. Rafi, Kishore Kumar, AC/DC, Linkin Park, One Direction, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift,ย  and so on…

I’m a foodie, big time! Born with a sweet tooth, but the spicy street food has it’s own appeal for me. I also like cooking occasionally.

I like Sketching-ย portraits mostly.

No matter how hard the day has been on me,ย chai (tea)ย can always brighten my mood -the perfect stress-buster!

And of course, the joy of writing is incomparable. Scribbling away whatever comes to my mind is an old habit which I do not consider giving up anytime soon!

Getting lost in the world of books is yet another favorite past-time of mine!ย I don’t really have a favourite author, rather a list of books that have greatly influenced me.

  1. Hi Arti!

Welcome to the blogosphere from a fellow relatively new blogger ๐Ÿ™‚ Great start! Can I suggest you update your About page? In the short time that I’ve been blogging I’ve learnt that it’s the one page that will get the most hits. Good luck with your new venture and looking forward to seeing more from you ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Just read your About Me and we are so similar! Haha, definitely a coffee addict, just the smell can make me feel better! I’m starting grad school this fall and am a little nervous. What grad program are you in?

    1. Biotechnology, what about you? And yeah I was nervous in the beginning too, that’s like the most natural reaction one would expect. But it turned out to be fun mostly! All the best!

  3. Arti, You’re blog design is so very creative and joyful. Many, many years ago, my favorite thing of all was to curl up in a big, red leather chair and read the latest Nancy Drew mystery. I ate thump like potato chips. Today, my favorite genre still is mystery although, as you know, I’ve branched out into children’s books. I’m new to this Blogging phenomena but have come to realize the value of writing every day. It hones the craft. So, keep on writing and connecting.
