Just a piece of Paper!

Come to think of it, the single thing that has brought me the maximum joy in life, has always been a piece of paper!

Being the nerd that I am, the score cards on the day of results back in school always used to be a welcoming sight! Also, making cute little greeting cards for your friends used to the best and cheapest way to celebrate birthdays back then. And frankly speaking neither Archies nor Hallmark could possibly beat a hand made card… again a piece of paper.

I know electronic media is on the boom and all, but then could the ebooks ever take over the print versions? Hell, no! Besides, just imagine the crisp touch of paper under your fingers.. magical, isn’t it? Whenever I buy a new notebook, before I start writing in it, I’d just sit and run my fingers over the blank pages. It sounds stupid but I swear it feels so good! Try it sometime ๐Ÿ˜›

And then who doesn’t like this ๐Ÿ˜‰ :

If, by the slightest chance, even after reading all this you are not convinced about the importance paper holds in our life or the joy that it brings, then this video commercial from Le Trรจfle (Source: YouTube) is just what you need!

Happy blogging!

  4. For someone who is in electronics media, I liked the way you described piece of paper. You will find much delight to know I am, too, trying to bring back the culture of writing letters to your loved ones back into being. Hope it works.
